Kate Middleton wears own personal Cartier necklace worth £49,000 , $78,000.

The Cartier necklace was one from her own wardrobe, but aides said she thought it appropriate to wear it today given the Olympic theme.
The necklace turns out to be by Cartier, from the jeweller’s Trinity collection and costs £49,000, roughly $78,000.
